This Privacy Policy explains how BibleQuery AI, developed by Cybrainx, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the mobile app and related services.

This policy applies to the BibleQuery AI mobile application available on Android and iOS, including in-app features, support pages, and related services offered by Cybrainx. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We may collect information that is necessary to provide the App, improve reliability, and support features such as reading, reflections, personalization, and in-app experience. This may include:

  • Account and authentication data, such as email address, user identifier, and sign-in information when using supported authentication methods.
  • App and device information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language settings, and general usage data.
  • Settings and preferences, such as reading language, translation settings, UI preferences, notifications, and selected themes.
  • Content you voluntarily provide, such as notes, highlights, bookmarks, prayers, reflections, feedback, or support messages.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App and its features.

  • Support AI-powered features, including reflection generation and intelligent assistance, when you choose to use those features.

4. Services and third parties we use

To operate the App, we use trusted third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Google AdMob for advertising and ad measurement where applicable.
  • Firebase for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and related app infrastructure.
  • Google Analytics for product analytics and performance measurement.
  • Google Cloud Platform for hosting, storage, backend services, and related infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare Workers for server-side processing, API routing, performance optimization, and secure request handling.
  • OpenRouter API through the Cloudflare Worker layer for AI-based features and requests when enabled by the user.

These providers process data only as necessary to provide the services and are subject to their own privacy and security practices.

5. Advertising and analytics

We may use AdMob and analytics tools to measure app performance, understand user engagement, and improve the quality of the App. Advertising identifiers and device-related data may be used by advertising partners in accordance with applicable platform guidance and privacy laws. We do not sell personal data to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

6. AI features and data processing

When you use AI-assisted features, the App may transmit limited request data to our backend services in order to process the request. This may include the selected passage, a user question, device context, and relevant metadata needed to provide the response. These requests may be routed through a Cloudflare Worker and then to the OpenRouter API provider. We aim to minimize the data sent and to use it only for the purpose of generating the requested response. Please avoid sending sensitive or unnecessary personal information through AI prompts.

7. Compliance with Google and Apple policies

BibleQuery AI is developed to follow applicable Google Play and Apple App Store requirements, including privacy, transparency, data handling, and app policy obligations. We aim to provide clear disclosures, reasonable user controls, and secure handling of personal information in line with platform expectations.

8. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the App and comply with legal, security, and operational requirements. You may request deletion of your account-related data by contacting us. Depending on the service and applicable law, some data may need to be retained for a period of time for security, analytics, or legal reasons.

9. Your choices and controls

11. Children's privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age required by applicable app store and local law without parental consent. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided us with personal information without proper authorization, please contact us so that we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users through the App or other available channels.
